The Seminoles are approaching the finishing stretch of their June recruiting. Here's an updated Top 10 Most Wanted Lisfl

Florida State is working on building a strong 2025 recruiting class. The Seminoles have thenation's No. 60 ranked 2025 recruiting classat this pointwithfour commitments currently in the boat. The reason for their low ranking is due to their lack of quantity. That should change soon.

As the Seminoles gear up for a massive run of summer official visitors, we're going to break down the Top 10 Most Wanted Recruits List for FSU.

In the creation of the Top 10 Most Wanted List,Noles247is paying attention to a few important factors. FSU'sneed at the position, thetalent level of the prospectand the strength ofmutual interestare allweighed and considered when forming this list. Players already committed to the Seminoles -- like 5-star OLSolomon Thomasor 4-star QBTramell Jones-- won't be on the list as they've already made their college decisions.

10.) 4-star RB Byron Louis

Byron Louisis likely FSU's top and most realistic running back target in the 2025 class. Ousmane Kromah is right there but I see Louis as a more gettable target at the position. The four-star 'back out of SouthFloridamoved FSU up his recruitment a considerable amount during the beginning months of 2024 but the most pivotal month of his process is upon us. He's already seen both Miami and Wisconsin and heads to Georgia this weekend before finishing the month of June with a trip toFlorida State. I like the way the summer visits set up for the 'Noles, who go last in that span of trips for Louis. FSUis all-in on Louis from an on-the-field as well as an off-the-field standpoint.

9.) 4-star OL Peyton Joseph

Peyton Joseph is likely FSU's most high-end, realistic target at the interior offensive line position. FSU has been involved for a long time with Joseph and after he committed and decommitted from Florida earlier this year, the Seminoles were immediately the team trending for his services. He visited Tallahassee more than any other recruit in the spring. I could see FSU closing the deal with Joseph on his official visit next weekend. Memphis, who hosted him on campus this past weekend, is the competition.

8.) 4-star DB Zae Thomas

I've been saying it all year, but it almost feels destined that four-star defensive backGregory Xavier Thomasends up at Florida State. He's part of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, grew up a fan of the Seminoles and hisformer high school head coach,Patrick Surtain Sr., is now FSU's defensive backs coach and leading the charge in recruiting Thomas to Tallahassee. Clemson is the other team to watch here and they've made a strong move in his recruitment after hosting him for an official visits two weekends ago. Regardless, I think FSU will win out for one of their top defensive back targets in the 2025 class.

7.) 4-star DL Jalen Wiggins

Jalen Wiggins exemplifies what an important recruiting win would be for Florida State. He plays defensive line, a position of need for the 'Noles out of the high school ranks, and resides in Tallahassee, a spot FSU needs to do a better jobof keeping top talent home. Wiggins has mutual interest in the Seminoles as well but continues to say all of the right things about the school he's committed to in the Florida Gators -- especially after taking his official visit to Gainesville last weekend.Wiggins spent time on FSU's campus twice over the last few weeks for their 7-on-7 camps. The 'Noles will get their big shot with Wiggins on his official visit next weekend.

6.) 4-star WR Vernell Brown III

Vernell Brown III has likely emerged into FSU's top receiver target when you consider mutual interest. Kaliq Lockett is another elite pass catcher but he isn't as realistic of an option for the Seminoles as Brown -- someone they've been recruiting for longer than most other teams involved with him. It'll likely come down to an in-state battle for Brown with FSU and Florida as the trendy teams early in June along with Miami, who hosted him on an official visit this week, making a strong surge. FSU gets the last crack at the Florida legacy as he trips to Tallahassee from June 21-23.

5.) 4-star DL Kevin Wynn

Keivn Wynn has had somewhat of a quiet recruitment over the last few months despite making visits to schools like South Carolina and Georgia but that doesn't make him any less important to Florida State. FSU needs to land elite defensive line talent in the high school ranks and Wynn would be just that. His number one factor in a school is somewhere with a good culinary program. He heads to Texas this weekend before seeing FSU the weekend after. A decision is expected in late July or early August.

4.) 4-star Edge Zion Grady

I know, I know. I put a blue-chip edge out of Alabama that Auburn covets on this list. That's only because I believe FSU has a real shot to eventually land Zion Grady -- especially after his official visit to campus this past weekend. Ohio State, Auburn and Miami are all threats and I could see him ending up at any of those programs, alongside FSU, but I do think that the Seminoles made a very strong impression on him and his camp on his most recent trip to campus. He's expected to make a decision in July.

3.) 4-star LB Tavion Wallace

Tavion Wallaceis a longtime target forFlorida Stateat the linebacker position and for quite some time, they were the clear leader for his services. That's likely no longer the case, however, asFloridaand Georgia have evened things up. FSU hasn't done anything wrong here -- the recent change at the top for Wallace is more related to the Bulldogs and Gators' strong push for his services. Wallace grew up a Gator fan -- so it's easy to see why UF has moved up his list after making him more of a priority this year. He also resides in the Peach State - giving reason as to why the 'Dawgs have surged up. FSU will get the final official visit of June for Wallace prior to his July 15 commitment date. That sets up well for the 'Noles as they look to close on one of their top defensive targets in the 2025 class.

2.) 4-star DL Myron Charles

Myron Charles moves back one spot in this month's Top 10 list and has been dethroned of the No. 1 position. That's not because Charles is any less of a priority for the 'Noles, it's because I feel great about FSU's chances with the prospect ranked above him. FSU needs to land blue-chip high school defensive line talent and PortCharlotte(Fla.) four-star defensive linemanMyron Charlesis close to the top of their priority list while also being an attainable target. Charles has named FSU his leader several times over the past few months and the Seminoles lead on the 247Sports Crystal Ball for him as things stand. He has an excellent relationship with defensive line coachOdell Haggins.Miami,Floridaand Texasare all involved with Charles as well and will all host him on an official visits, along with FSU, in June.

1.) 5-star OT Josh Petty

Florida Statehas been in the picture for five-star offensive tackleJosh Pettyfor some time but have seemed to surge up for him as of late. One reason for optimism when it comes to FSU's chances with Petty is that he's locked in to officially visit to Tallahassee for the weekend of June 21-23. That's FSU's marquee official visit weekend of the summer and the last visit for Petty after he takes a number of trips in both May and June. Petty's older sister is set to attend Florida State, arriving as a freshman in Tallahassee this fall. There is talk about Petty wanting to attend the same school as his older sister -- which is also part of the reason for some optimism about FSU with the Peach State native. Petty also has strong relationships with head coachMike Norvelland OC/OL coachAlex Atkinsat FSU. Offensive tackle is always a position of need and Petty, an elite prospect at that spot, would be the perfect addition for the 'Noles. I entered a Crystal Ball in favor of the 'Noles with Petty earlier this week.
