TALLAHASSEE --News and notes from Florida State's Wednesday Big Man Camp and 7-on-7.

New offers extended

Florida State extended one offer at Big Man Camp and a couple of others at the 7-on-7 team camp:

- The first offer of the day was extended to Vero Beach (Fla.) 2028 quarterback Wonderful Monds IV. FSU became his second offer, as UCF offered earlier in the week. Monds goes by the nickname of 'Champ'. He comes from a family that has produced multiple high-level athletes in both football and baseball.

- At the conclusion of the Big Man Camp, the Seminoles offered New Albany (Miss.) two-way lineman Emanuel Tucker. Tucker is listed as a 2026 defensive lineman by 247Sports.com, but he worked at offensive line with the Seminoles on Wednesday and that is the side of the ball that the Seminoles offered him for.

- The final offer of the day was extended to Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood four-star 2026 athlete Jordan Crutchfield. The talented athlete was watched heavily on the day by wide receivers coach Ron Dugans. He was offered on the offensive side of the ball. He participated on both sides of the ball on Wednesday. Crutchfield is ranked as the No. 197 overall prospect and No. 16 cornerback in the 2026 class by 247Sports.com.

Some others of note from Big Man Camp

- Cocoa (Fla.) four-star edge Javion Hilson, a Florida State commitment in the midst of his June official visits, dropped in to work with position coach John Papuchis. He spoke 1-on-1 withNoles247after working out. That full interview can be found here.

- Daphne (Ala.) three-star edge Talib Graham, an Ole Miss commit, participated alongside his teammates. He is a bit short and squat, but got downhill quickly, exhibited quick feet, and the thick build translates to power.

- A couple of other 2025 edge prospects that were in attendance included Port Saint Lucie (Fla.) St. Lucie West Centennial three-star edge Brooks Williams and Miami (Fla.) Carol City three-star edge Brandon Thomas. Both were of similar build, though Williams a bit taller. Long limbed, slender linemen who have to rely on length and speed versus overpowering competition. Williams is committed to USF. Thomas claims two-dozen offers.

- Waxhaw (N.C.) Cuthbertson 2025 defensive lineman Cole Webster is a barrel-chested, physical lineman who has a very strong punch. He has nearly 20 offers, a mix including James Madison< NIU, Old Dominion, and several Ivy League Schools. He is set to visit James Madison this upcoming weekend.

- Bay Saint Louis (Miss.) St. Stanislaus 2027 defensive lineman Sam Lejeune is thick and strong. The reason he caught our attention though is that he has advanced technique and an array of moves for getting off blocks in pass rush situations. He has camped with LSU and Mississippi State, in addition to FSU. No offers yet, but they will come.

- Riverdale (Ga.) Charles Drew 2025 jumbo athlete Jahari Medlock is intriguing. He is 6-foot-6, 275-plus pounds. He worked on both sides of the ball during the Big Man Camp. He has long arms and good feet that make him intriguing as an offensive lineman - a spot that Mike Norvell observed him closely at. He also has enough speed and strength to be a menace on the defensive side of the ball. Cincinnati and Maryland, part of his list of 15-plus offers, are both on the docket for official visits. The Bearcats have done a good job with him early on.

- Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss 2026 interior offensive lineman Jerald 'JJ' Mays checks in around 6-foot-3 and carries his weight well. He displayed very good feet, ability to bend and play from a powerful base, and good hand usage. He is approaching 20 offers. FSU has not yet pulled the trigger.

- Largo (Fla.) 2026 offensive lineman Riley Wilson performed well on the day. He left with his first offer, which came from Florida A&M - who was also in attendance at the camp.

- Keystone Heights (Fla.) 2027 offensive lineman Bryce Daniels continues to fill out on his frame. He has been to FSU on multiple instances. He performed well on Wednesday. He has a few early offers.

Notes from 7-on-7

- Moncks Corner (S.C.) Berkeley 2027 quarterback Henry Rivers grabbed our attention. A bit on the short side, but he delivered it well around the field on the day. Accurate passer and worth keeping an eye on.

- Valdosta (Ga.) four-star athlete Todd Robinson, a recent Georgia pledge, showed off his athleticism and position versatility. He did so under the watchful eye of multiple staff members. Robinson could play running back or defensive back, though he plays quarterback at times for his high school team. Robinson recently toldNoles247that he will no longer be taking an official visit to FSU this month - he was previously on the schedule.

- Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards four-star defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins participated as a tight end with Rickards for the second consecutive week. He is currently committed to Florida. He has an upcoming official visit scheduled to Florida State.

- Vero Beach (Fla.) four-star 2026 athlete Efrem White, who has been committed to Florida State since December 12, 2023, was in attendance and put on a good display of his length and skills as Vero Beach made a run to the Final 4. He plays a variety of positions for Vero Beach. Head coach Mike Norvell and others made sure to give White immediate attention.

- Vero Beach (Fla.) four-star linebacker Tarvos 'TJ' Alford, an Ohio State pledge, competedat the event. He displayed his ability in pass coverage and general athleticism combined with hisbig build. He drew a great deal of attention from defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, linebackers coach Randy Shannon, and others. He also locked in an official visit to Florida State. More on that here.

- Miami (Fla.) Carol City 2026 four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell, a Miami commitment, was in attendance.

- Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington four-star defensive back Ben Hanks Jr., who is scheduled to officially visit FSU next week, competed with his team. He drew plenty of attention from Patrick Surtain Sr. Hanks Jr., a Florida legacy, discussed the latest with FSU here.

- Mobile (Ala.) Williamson three-star safety Tajh Overton participated with his team. He is an Arkansas pledge. Good skill combined with good speed. A bit on the thin side. He made some nice plays on the ball.

- Valdosta (Ga.) 2026 defensive back Prince Jean is a talented defensive back who has seen his offer list eclipse 10 in recent months. He will be a South Georgia commodity in the next cycle.

- Quitman (Ga.) Brooks County 2027 athlete George Lamons Jr. is a long athlete who is already filled out well on his 6-foot-4 frame. He worked at wide receiver on Wednesday. He could play on either side of the ball and is still likely evolving into his eventual position. FSU offered him in the spring when he visited for a practice. He was wearing FSU gloves on Wednesday. He is drawing heavy interest already in his recruitment.

- Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington defeated Davie (Fla.) Western in the finals of the 7-on-7 tournament.
