A closed motel off of I-86 near Pennsylvania that went into bankruptcy has a new owner.
The Post-Journal and OBSERVER have been analyzing real estate transactions and recently looked at the sales from June 22-30.
During this time period, Citizens Bank sold 3025 Route 426, Mina to Unity Findley Lake, LLC of Findley Lake for $2 million. That’s the address of Comfort Inn & Suites.
The Post-Journal reported in November of 2022 that the owners of Comfort Inn and Suites located near Interstate 86 in Findley Lake had filed for bankruptcy. In late February a referee for Findley Lake Hospitality LLC oversaw the transaction of 3025 Rt. 426, Mina to Citizens Bank for $2,807,107.
Currently the motel is still closed, however it appears work is being done on the property. Since July there have been workers pulling out all of the old furniture and trashing it. They have also cut the vegetation down.

Including the $2 million sale previously mentioned, from June 22-30 there were 14 sales that were $250,000 or higher. Among the 14, four were $1 million or higher. The other three appear to be private residences, with one of them having two addresses.
The three seven-figure transaction residences sales are as follows:
— 320 Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point sold for $1,920,000.
— 4328 Lakeside Drive, Ellery and 113 Lakeside Drive, Bemus Point sold for $1,435,000.
— 7780 East Lake Road, Westfield sold for $1 million.
The remaining top sales $250,000 or higher are as follows:

— 14 Westwind Drive, Ellery, sold for $530,000.
— 1205 South Main St. Ext., Busti sold for $510,000.
